PPGBM is involved in International Partnership Agreements está envolvido em projetos de cooperação internacional through National Agencies like the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). In the year of 2015, for instance, Professors from the program established partnership with institutions like University of Aveiro, New University of Lisbon, University of Porto and University of Lisbon, both in Portugal; Universidad de Camagüey "Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz”, from Cuba; Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, from Toledo – Spain, through its Department of Analytical Chemistry; ; Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas de Barcelona (IIBB-CSIC), from Barcelona – Spain; Leibniz Center for Tropical Marine Ecology (ZMT), from Bremen – Germany; University of Salford, from Manchester – England; Target Discovery Institute, of University of Oxford – United Kindom. There are still individual partnerships linked to other Institutions.

PPGBM has kept a long-term partnership with the Blood Donor Center of the University of São Paulo (USP), in the city of Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, and with the Institute of Biological Sciences of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (ICB/UFPA).

Activity description:
In the early 2015, PPGBM started its activities with a project approved by the 2013 Official Notice of the National Program of Academic Cooperation (PROCAD/CAPES), under the coordination of Professor Artur Silva, having as partiner Institutions the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). This Project builds on investigations in our biological model of microorganism: Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis.
